AP Lang. and Comp. #6

This video uses a lot of exaggeration to make it humorous, for example, the geeks at 0:48 or 1:27, even the craziest of nerdy weirdoes don’t act like that. VenetianPrincess also uses excessive amounts of stereotypes.  The spoof is made even funnier by the fact that her target audience actually agrees with what she is saying to a point. She expects the geeks seeking like minded geeks to be watching to be nodding in agreement, snickering or laughing outright, but nodding in agreement. Come on, arrogant self-enamored jock vs. young cool thinking spock?

trekkies for ever . . .

  1. Rhetorical modes that were used in the Womanizer music video were narration and example because the whole video is basically telling a story. Description is also used in the sense that the music video is showing what a womanizer does. The video in a way show's process analysis because its showing different actions that are used and those outcomes. Division of analysis is also used because it shows the conclusion for those actions that she takes.

  2. Some of the rhertical modes that I found in the song is description because it described how she was "womenized" by men. Cause and effect is another mode because it shows things that happen and the effects of it. Decription was also used in the music video espcially because it was ummmmm descriptive with body language.
